It is well-known that decentralized approaches to clinical trials offer more patient-centric experiences, and that by removing as much of the patient burden as possible, we are able to increase retention rates. But what does this actually look like in a practical setting? This session will explore the patient experience within a DCT model, what types of interactions are delivered, how it differs from a brick-and-mortar operation—and how a dynamic feedback loop ensures that the patient is continually informing experience planning and trial delivery. The speakers will use case studies to illustrate how the DCT patient experience works in practice—including real feedback from patients.
